In the third in the series of our GDPR videos we take a look at how the Volcanic platform is designed to comply with the new rights of the candidate under the GDPR.

Our self-service candidate dashboard is a model of best practice, as recommended by the terms of the GDPR. We’ve developed our new compliance area based on the core GDPR principles of Privacy by Design / Privacy by Default, putting control of data into the hands of the data subject - in this instance, the candidate.

This video talks you through:

  • How the Volcanic platform makes it easy for candidates to view what they have consented to and how they can easily opt in and out.

  • How to set up your company’s specific consents in the Volcanic admin dashboard.

  • How candidates can request the right to be forgotten (RTBF) and the right of access (Subject Access Request or SAR) and where these will show in the admin area.

  • How candidates can download their data under the new right to data portability.
